Looks like we made it )

Once again, what started off as a nice little idea whilst drifting off to sleep last night has turned into a serious undertaking. These have taken me all frigging day. Not that I'm complaining, it's made me very happy making them! Also, without any prior knowledge, I was already fulfilling my task after being tagged by
[profile] bluntsbitch  to make a fanmix of some description. I don't do things by halves so you get 3.

Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own
.

Deary me some of these are SO EASY and some are far too obscure hhehehe. This also reminded me how my wonderful iPod headphones decided to finally break on Saturday. Bah humbug. Also, my iPod seemed to have an obsession with songs who's title is in the first line of the lyrics, just when I didn't want it to. Naughty iPod.

Felt like it was about time for another one of these. The theme of this month's mix is covers! Plus there's a couple of Christmas ones in there to keep the festive spirit up. Like this mix? Visit [profile] toptentunes  for many more!

I must just point out that whilst I was putting this post together we had a power cut for over an hour. Thank the lord for the 'restore from saved draft' option. The hour was spent with me wrapping Christmas gifts by candlelight, Mr S putting together a 'black out' themed iPod playlist and then both of us dancing around the lounge to Mystery Jets, waving bicycle lights in the air. 'Twas a sight to behold. I was just suggesting we go out to get chips for dinner and a nice big bottle of something warming and alcoholic to pass the time when the lights came back on. I was slightly disappointed. Do you think he'd notice if I went for the fuse box?
