biffy | The wait is almost over

I've had the Take That album forever and I love it to bits. Only yesterday did it hit me how well I'd Wait For Life suits Ten / Rose. I am by no means the biggest Ten / Rose shipper out there but this idea just wouldn't leave me alone. Lacking any video making skills I was at first going to just do a picspam to lyrics but last night the bug bit me and I made it into a slideshow. First attempt using Windows Movie Maker or uploading anything to You Tube so I'm amazed I didn't break anything! Plus, I got up this morning to find it had 28 views already and I didn't even tag it properly because I wasn't sure I wanted all and sundry looking at it. OK, enough prattling on. Here it is.

I've been wanting to do a SPN vid forever but I just don't have time!

Well I've always said that I'd never take the time to teach myself video making because a) I did it for several years at college and uni and I hated it, b) it's one more thing to distract me and c) I'll clog up my hard drive with yet more nonsense, namely tons of video clips of Jensen and Doctor Who ;)

But surprisingly this slideshow thing was very fun to do and it only took me about an hour to put together. Took me a whole lot longer to find the caps I wanted and Photoshop them but that's OK :D

I really must listen to that Take That album straight through one day. *pokes self*

And i know sod all about the DW fandom, but that was very good considering it's your first attempy at Movie Maker, well done!

And I didn't realises Billie Piper was so pretty. *stares*

Like I said to someone earlier on, I was always wary of making videos because of the time factor. This didn't take that long though, and I really enjoyed it so I expect I'll do another one at some point :)

Thanks my love! You know what, it was actually really easy to learn. Probably helped that I did some video stuff at college and uni but honestly it's not that complicated at all.

Well, I don't watch the show, and I'm not a big fan of slideshows, but I had to check out your first attempt with WMM! And just so you know, it took me muuuuch longer to figure out transtions (even the simplest ones) and making it go, even -ish, with the rythm of the song. (yep, my first video was really a big bunch of crap!) All of this to say you can be happy!

Erm, completly random, but since English is your first language, I figured i'd ask you! Don't laugh, but earlier, I had a big freak out about something : is the expression "to no end" familiar? Because I used it in my essay for my English exam, and now I somehow feel like it's really familiar, and that I shouldn't have used it since we're supposed to have a proper language... that's not really important, but I was just wondering. It's sometimes hard for me to "feel" this kind of thing, especially since I basically learned English in TV shows!
That was a big blah blah for nothing much, but I just wrote it while I was at it! ;)

'To no end' is familiar yes, I don't think you should worry about having used it in an essay! I know what you mean though, sometimes it must be difficult to get a real feel for the language when it's not your own :)

Aww thanks for watching the slideshow even with those misgivings! I do have some previous experience of video making which definitely helped, just not using that programme.
