Journey through time and space

Yeah, Tuesday mornings mean spam from me. Also means Radio Times day! This week we have Heroes scans: Hiro on the cover and an interview with Masi Oka. Plus a couple of pages on Doctor Who, even if it is mostly images :)

Lookit! Free CD next week! WOOHOO!!
Also, here's the preview for Saturday's episode 'Planet of the Ood':
There are some unexpected moments of throat-catching poignancy as the Doctor takes Donna to her first-ever alien planet. There he's reunited with the Ood, and what unfolds prompts a teary Donna to beg the Doc to take her home. The Ood are brutalised in what look very much like concentration camps - writer Keith Temple draws some parallels with the Holocaust - before they're dispatched to other planets as slaves, all at the behest of a nasty, besuited villain (the splendid Tim McInnerny). But the sinister process is going wrong - the Ood are turning murderous, something that's so far from the true nature of a gentle race. When the Doctor demonstrates to an emotional Donna just why, and with what urgency, they need to be set free, prepare to have a bit of a sniffle
Oh lordy, tissues at the ready! As a long-time Blackadder fan I'm quite looking forward to seeing Percy Tim playing a baddie. Not looking forward to 45+ minutes of Oods though, as I am totally freaked out by their tentacular faces. *hides behind the sofa*

So yeah, just to prove that even though we're massively behind the US we still love Heroes ;)

Date: 2008-04-15 12:19 pm (UTC)Whenever my father's watching one the many Star Trek spin offs and members of one of the odder-looking alien races are on screen, my mother always has the same reaction: "Ugh. Why do they have to be so ugly?" *lol*
Thank you for the scans of the Heroes magazine! I loved reading the bit of the interview with Adrian... He's so wonderful *sigh*
