Ten things I love about Supernatural
Slightly random. I blame the cold weather. By the way these are in no order whatsoever I just felt like having a gush.
Come on flist it's your turn! Tell me a random thing that you love about Supernatural (or any other fandom for that matter). I'm in a silly mood so the more random the better :D
On an almost unrelated note, I had an email off Amazon earlier on asking me to change my credit card details for the Companion Guide order. Which means they tried to take the payment from my out of date card so they must be about to send it to me! Finally! \o/
1. Dean's homemade EMF meter. As featured in one of my favourite episodes, Phantom Traveller. I just think it's so cute that Dean made this out of an old Walkman and he's so proud of it. Sam's not the only one who can be geekboy. And the look on Dean's face when Sam's not so impressed is just priceless, as this wonderful icon by ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

2. Sam's brown and white pumas. Hey, I said it was random right? I don't know what it is, I just find these tiny little trainers on the bottom of Jared's gargantuan legs so cute. Very sad to see Sammy lose one down the drain in Bad Day At Black Rock, but a shot of his black sock very nearly made up for it. What can I say, I might be developing a foot fetish.
3. In My Time Of Dying. Again with the foot fetish *g*... no, seriously, putting aside the fact that we get to see so much of Dean in pyjamas (which, incidentally nearly stopped my heart the first time) I just love this episode to bits. We have the humour ("I feel like I'm at a slumber party") and the angst in equal measures. I think it's beautifully shot, so well written (good old Kripke, you always write the best episodes for your baby!) and when Sam drops his coffee and runs to John's side kills me every. single. time. Definitely my favourite episode ever, I could watch it over and over.
4. The Impala. I decided not to go for any obvious choices in this list otherwise I'd end up with 1-5 being Dean and 6-10 being Sam, so I guess this is the most obvious non-obvious choice (does that even make sense?!). I've never been into cars that much, I mean I can't even drive and I'm 25 FFS but I've always had a bit of a thing for muscle type cars. Before I started watching Supernatural my favourite was a 1968 Ford Mustang GT (ooh get me and the technical speak) but funnily enough now I've fallen in love with the 1967 Chevy Impala. Preferably with the optional Winchester fittings. She just looks so damn sexy, and the noise! Oh the noise. I love the part in Croatoan where Dean has to do that spin to get away from the crazy infected people. Dean + baby = my OTP most definitely.
5. Dean's blue jacket. Every time I see him wearing this I have a little bit of a squee to myself. I don't know when it started, I just love how he looks in this. And of course there's the fact that he never seems to need to pop his collar, it just does it itself. Dean looks damn hot in this jacket.
6. The fans. Yay! That's you guys! Out of all the fandoms I am part of, Supernatural fans are without a doubt the most passionate and also the craziest but I mean that in the nicest way. There's never a dull moment as a Supernatural fan.
7. The music. At the moment my favourite is 'Hey Man Nice Shot' by Filter, that is used in Skin when shapeshifter Dean goes back into the sewers to shed his Dean-skin. The song goes so well with that scene and whenever I hear it now I get goosebumps. Same goes for 'Hells Bells' by AC/DC after it was used for the recap at the beginning of The Magnificent Seven. Anyway, here's that Nice Shot ;D
8. J2. Well ok, this one might be a bit obvious too. Jared and Jensen are just completely made of awesome in my opinion. They play their parts so well, I mean just look at Jared's screen test for the part of Sam. He was spot on right away! No one else could even possibly come near to playing these parts as well. Plus, they're the best of friends and so darn cute together. The only thing better than Jensen Ackles is Jensen Ackles with a side helping of Jared Padalecki.
9. Evil!Sammy. Come on, how can it be right that someone looks so hot when he's being posessed by a demon?! I loved seeing that crazy side to Sam in Born Under A Bad Sign, and also after Dr Ellicott got to him in Asylum. Sam looks hot when he's angry!
10. The boys in suits. Something we're getting a LOT of this season and I for one am really enjoying it. Dean always looks so uncomfortable and Sam looks mismatched all the time. He somehow always seems to end up with the really odd looking jackets! And don't even get me started on the tuxedos from last week. I might just fall off my chair and die right here.

Okay then. Maybe in a few days I will post something! Jeez I really will have to think long and hard cos like you, with putting Jensen 1-5 and Sam 6-10, I would end up putting 1. Emily, 2. Emily, 3. Emily. 4. Emily etc etc lol even though I know there are tons of things I adore about my fandom other than the person herself, lmao.
Besides, it would give me reason to inform everyone why I love her so!

and OMG OMG OMG EEEEEEEEEE I can't wait for my companion guide! I haven't had the 'its been shipped' email yet because of the hoo-hah with my credit card but I'm sure it's coming *dances like a mad thing*
ETA: actually, you know what else? that hooded top that Dean wears in that episode ^ damn, I would love to steal that off him, or just cuddle him in it :D

So many things I like about Heroes, but I'll just mention a few, in no particular order:
1) Paire and the fact that it's illicit ;) This includes all things Paire, including, but not limited to, eyesex, grabbing, touching, tear-wiping, cheek caressing, confessing how much they need each other, Peter pleading with Claire not to go to France, flirtatious jail cell banter, saving each other...
2) Peter, Nathan, and Claire together and their messed up but absolutely wonderful family dynamics *sigh* I really need more scenes of them together. Those 3 just ooze chemistry.
3) Adrian/Nathan: Adrian's so delicious to look at, and he plays Nathan so wonderfully. It's a joy to watch such a nuanced, subtle characterization every week :)
