I didn't think I was going to be able to post this today. Firstly because yet again it took me an AGE to find it somewhere and then because I thought the episode started off so slowly. Should have known better, by the end of it I was jumping around in my seat like a crazy thing. So, a few thoughts:
- SYLAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!! Yeah OK so he wasn't in it much but I still can't contain my excitement at him finally being back. Where the hell is he?! That's just weird. Loving all the open shirted action tho, chest hair rules :) Oh and when Michelle turns into him and says "if that's what you're into" OMFG I nearly died. Sylar + Sylar = OTP! Oh the kinkiness running through my head right now. It really must stop.
- I'm still not liking West. No, scratch that I can't stand the guy. I wanted to punch him when he made Claire run out the room like that. And no amount of whisking her off to foreign climbs is going to make up for the fact that he's an overgrown Peter Pan stalker. Bleh.
- Peter - enough with the hands already! And why can the man not seem to keep his shirt on for a whole episode?! Don't get me wrong I'm really not complaining, I just think maybe Kring's overplaying the sexy Milo card a bit here. Is that even possible I hear you ask? Well yes it is in the interests of storyline....... y'know, what is actually GOING ON. Which as far as I can tell is not very much. Quite liking evil!Peter tho, when he held Will up on the wall like that - his face was TEH SEX *flails* There you go see, I got distracted from The Plot again by the sexiness. Damn you Kring! *shakes fist*
- Hiro. Ah my gorgeous cuddly Hiro. Seriously, in parts this episode is a slasher's heaven. Sylar and Sylar, Matt and Mohinder (God those two should just get a room already. Oh I forget, they already HAVE one they just need to USE IT!) and then Hiro and Kensei. We all know Hiro couldn't leave because of Kensei not Yaeko ;-) And Carp is such a cute pet name doncha think? I loved how Hiro managed to get his messages to Ando inside the sword handle like that, great idea there. And of course, David Anders was looking completely adorable as usual. *sigh*
- Quite glad to have Niki and Micah back. I know I mumbled some kind of "meh" about them before but ti didn't really seem the same without them. Really intrigued about the New Orleans storyline, I've read a couple of spoilery things but I'll keep my mouth shut. Also was nice finally finding out what DL stood for. Daniel Lawrence. The inscription on his grave was sweet too- "Husband, father, hero."
- Is Heroes turning into Star Trek? Tune in next week to see if Peter runs into Scotty...... wouldn't surprise me, they don't seem to care about how cliched the Irish characters are, bunging an old "Scottish" bloke in probably wouldn't make much difference.
- So the ending! With HRG! AAHHHHHH! I love how Isaac's paintings are obviously going to play quite a big part in this series, because I loved Isaac and I kinda miss him and his lovely soft hair. I might be being a thick here, but was the blonde in HRG's death painting meant to be Claire? I have to go back and watch that bit, I was sqeaking a bit too much to pay attention properly.
WOOT! Have I made it obvious that I love this show? :D

Date: 2007-10-09 02:26 pm (UTC)I liked the ending. I still don't understand how I feel about West, but I know I miss Zach.
Plus I don't like the girl who's with Peter right now and I want him to open that box and come back to his life. To his brother, which I missed in this episode.

I'm with you; he's a cruel bully, and there's absolutely no chemistry whatsoever between him and Claire.

Ditto, again. There was really no good reason for Peter to be shirtless while testing out his powers. If you're going to have Peter topless, which I don't mind :D, give us a believable context.
I liked finding out D.L.'s full name, too :)
Tune in next week to see if Peter runs into Scotty
I bet you TPTB would've approached James Doohan about a guest starring role, were he still alive :)
I might be being a thick here, but was the blonde in HRG's death painting meant to be Claire?
I'm pretty sure that is Claire, but the big question is who's that man she's kissing? Looks like it could be either Peter or Nathan. And are they kissing on the lips or the cheek? Needless to say, if it turns out that Peter and Claire are kissing, whether on the lips or the cheek, I will be a very happy shipper, indeed :D
